We were one of two non-profits at the Beatiful Land Market in downtown Ames.

We participated in the first Farmers' Market of 2024. We shared information about our mission, talked about bird migration, and painted the windows at the Ames Public Library to make them bird-friendly! Our co-host, the Ames High School Art Club, helped provide activities for those of all ages! 

Painting your windows is just one of many ways you can help prevent window strikes! Just make sure to do it on the outside of the window and take up as much space as possible! Birds will try to fly through a space any larger than 2x2 inches!
